Hidden Gem: Guptar Ghat

Hidden Gem: Guptar Ghat

Recently we had planned to visit at my mom’s place in Uttar Pradesh which is near Ayodhaya yes Awadhpuri Ram Nagari Ayodhaya. It had almost been a week and we were locked up in our home as we had to attend some family affairs, so we finally decided to break the shackles and escape.  We wished to explore some unseen places this time as suggested by my sister-in-law; sounds like a plan treat for a person like me who loves to travel around. Straightaway we planned for Faizabad which comes under Ayodhaya district now; previously Ayodhaya town used to come in Faizabad district but now it’s exactly the opposite. Such a beautiful city with so many things to offer, a blend of growing boomtown and spiritual committed place.

The beautiful rustic charm of  Chowks and Makbara built in the pre-partition era remains an eye candy for visitors.  A place that is built by sensitivity and natural environment.

From the bustling market in the old city to amazing delectable street foods devour the very best a city has to offer.

I often pay more to enjoy simplicity and refinement and small-towns has it all; a complete immersion of manmade and natural world.

Had also been to this gorgeous and must-visit place named Guptar Ghat in Faizabad Cantonment area hardly 6km from Faizabad railway station. Guptar Ghat a series of fine and well maintained sacred Ghats on the bank of River Sarayu build by Raja Darshan Singh in the 19th century.

Apart from its mythological significance this place has dotted with several ancient temples and a picturesque view of the River Sarayu which is simply breathtaking; consist of long steps stones with Narshingha, Guptahri Shrines, and epic Ram - Sita temple. This ghat is highly revered by the Hindus and is believed to be the spot where Lord Rama took “Jal Samadhi” secretly thereby leaving the earth for “Baikuntha” the actual reason why this place is named as Guptar Ghat.

Guptar Ghat is a nice and serene place to hang out and experience spectacular views of sunrise and sunsets on the bank of the River Sarayu.

You can enjoy boating here, dozens of decorated boats floating down the river just at the cost of Rs 200 per family; boating is a worth family pastime and we decided to take a shot.

He took us in the mid of the River bed into the lap of nature, a splendid experience giving solace to the heart and the mind along with its tranquillity what a memorable experience. Also, this place is in sync with nature has to serve food that goes with the theme whips up with mouth-watering local cuisines like  Chai- Pakoda with Healthy chutneys, Aloo Tikkis, Chat, and some of best Litti Cokhas I ever had, a local favorite dish.

Previously I had no idea about this place, but this one turns out to be the best surprise for me;  such a beautiful and serene place in the heart of this chaotic city. There are many such unexplored locations in India to indulge in and have a great time exploring the hidden gems.

Ladakh is a land with rich culture and deep Buddhist history. Monks and hermitages form a large part of its identity and are a great influence on the community. As we make our way to Leh Ladakh, serried meadows, apple manors, and bounties of nature give way to beautiful terrains cheer up by the shining sun. The endless barren trails of mountains dot the terrain and that’s when you know you’ve arrived in one of the most spectacular places on the Earth!! A road trip to Ladakh isn't a child's play-it's feat stuff of dreams. Motherhood Journey: My Next Big Obsession

Motherhood Journey: My Next Big Obsession MrsSparklingEyes:Instagram My journey to motherhood has been filled with a range of emotions. From the moment I found out I was pregnant to the moment I saw my newborn baby.  #Motherhood There’s ain't no hood like motherhood. MrsSparklingEyes:Instagram My life was forever changed on August 19, 2022 . I recently became a mother after giving birth to a baby boy. His first cry, his first sight, and the hug we shared later were all rewarding. There are no words strong enough to describe the emotion I felt the day after holding my baby in my arms for the first time. I was aware that I was holding a star; it was love at first sight. In fact, I was intently watching him from a distance while they were cleaning him, and there was immense joy and relief in bringing him safely into this world. That feeling will stay with me for the rest of my life. I fell completely in love with my baby immediately after birth. I was in the happiest ...
