Don’t answer with a simple one liner “Yes’ or “No”. Elaborate your profile, explain things whenever possible.

Don’t back bitch about your previous organisation, do not make any negative remarks about present or former employers. Always give a genuine answer.

Don’t over answer any questions. Answer but do not exaggerate things unnecessarily. Keep it short and important so that the panel can engage with you.

Don’t cross question the interview panel about salary, vacations, benefits, bonuses or retirement on the initial interview. Can get all the info on the JD you have applied on or a consultant you are in touch with.
