While giving the job interview good manners plays an
important role. If you take this for granted it can ruin all your hard work and
preparation for the interview very effortlessly. By not following the correct
job interview etiquette or not showing good manners, it is very easy to destroy
your chances for selection and in having an impressive career history. Interviewers
want people with whom they can work with, who are capable enough, fit in the
culture of the organisation, matching personalities. Someone who is ill-mannered or does not
follow correct etiquette will quickly form negative impressions in the
interviewers mind and then they will hardly entertain you anymore.

So it is very important to use the right etiquette and be
well mannered at the job interview. You can also make a checklist a day prior of the interview. It
will enable the interviewers to warm them and this will give a real
competitive advantage over any other candidates who may be interviewed for the
job.

Some Basic Etiquette's to remember is your Appearance in the interview, you always
sound polite to the interviewer, be punctual and on time, try to sound Professional every time, Do not carry any
stuff which distract your attention like switch off your cell phones before
entering. Research and preparation in advance about the company and profile. Addressing
the panel by remembering their names, greeting the panel and treating all
equally and last but not the least thanking the Panel for their valuable time
before leaving the interview room.
