My Bali Experience!!

My Bali Experience!!

We recently took a trip to Bali in August 2019. I always wanted to explore this place as have heard a lot about it and finally we made it.

As we had no idea about this place so chose to opt for a travelling company. We planned for almost 9 Days, as per the regular itinerary by travelling company. Here are some beautiful places i would recommend when you plan to visit Bali.

Ulluwatu -

1.    Padang Beach

Located in the city of Padang, it’s a small sandy beach to sunbathe and sprawl. It’s very scenic and is famous for surfing.

2.    Uluwatu Temple & Kecak Fire Dance

There’s a temple above cliff, it will take 1 to 2 hours of walking along the cliff and taking pictures, worthwhile and admirable. After pleased by this beautiful sunset view from top there is something more. Kecak Dance performed in the evening with a sunset view. It’s one of the most iconic Balinese Hindu dance and music drama. Which is based on Ramayana – Sanskrit epic of ancient India (Sita Haran by Ravana and Rama Kills Ravana, finally lovers reunite) Performed by professional dancers. What a graceful performance, Unique experience great vibes, one must go.

3.    Jimbaran Beach

Clean sand beach with little local cafes called Warungs. Will recommend to try seafood’s here. They had arranged a romantic dinner setup for us, Delicious food with beach front view. A lovely horizon to glare, mind blowing lighting's, Sound of soft waves and musician playing the violin what else you could have asked for, this will melt your heart for surely. I was very happy with the arrangements done by the restaurant owners.  Something really Extravagant!!

Nusa Penida –

1.    Kelingking Beach

Breath Taking view from top, capture best shots here.

Most beautiful thing to witness on this planet earth and also one of the dangerous beaches on the island. You need to climb down many step stairs (down) to reach, scary walking down.

2.    Broken Beach

Rocky coastline with one of the most picturesque location. Treat to your eyes, no matter how tired, you will dwell into this beauty immediately.

3.    Billabong Beach

Another Epic spot Billabong beach, Unique limestone formations. This naturally formed rock lagoon offers the most beautiful experience to adore. You got Bird nests over there to click some amazing pictures; they charge a bit but yes they took amazing shots.

4.    Crystal Bay

It is considered to be the best dive site. The water is purely crystal clear. You can clearly spot fishes and corals. Visibility is excellent. Indeed the name derives from crystal clear waters. Things were too expensive over there. We had our Lunch and left too soon, wanted to be there till sunset but yes we already had things to do as per our tour guide and I was not happy to leave this place so early but had to.

   Gilli Island

This one is my favorite. We perked up like, the very moment we reached to this island, its mesmeric heaven, My kind of world, Jaw dropping passes. After too much of travelling and what not, this was the break i needed desperately. We stayed at Little coco in Gili Terawangan, will definitely recommend this place. This Island was full of fascinating views. People out there grooving, jollying, whooping, all over around., what a lively gathering, good wild time. Late night walks, we’d been up carousing till the early hours. Alluring Sunsets what a beauty to witness. Whichever restaurants we enter, they are so pleased to see Indians and welcome us with some famous Bollywood dialogues “Main tumse paar karta hoon” that was really sweet of them. Yes people are mad behind Shahrukh Khan in Bali. Will definitely go bali, just to visit this island again n again. I am not exaggerating when I say the place is paradise, I mean it. These Islands are tropical Paradise.

Ubud –

Batuan Temple

One of the oldest Balinese Lord Vishnu temple with beautiful stone carvings and sculptures. Sarongs are must to wear inside and need to tie your hair before entering. The best part was sarongs and rubber bands are provided by them so no need to worry.

Mount Batur

Mount Batur is an Active volcano. You need to wake up 2 AM, drive 1 hr, then trek nearly 2 hrs to reach summit at 5 AM to watch Sunrise. There will be a team of volunteers who will assist and help you. To avoid trekking and hiking you can still manage to view this beautiful mount with an amazing view from Kintamani restaurant. Beautiful and surreal experience with finger licking food and witness this beauty at the same time.

Tirta Empul

This is again a Hindu Balinese water temple. They have ritual bathing culture from its famous holy spring water and take blessings under running water. This sacred believed to be divine. You will also found local pond with loads of fishes.

Bali Swing & Nests

Last but not the least. Get a thrill of swings in the lap of nature, what else you need. Best shots, Adventurous rides, Variety of swings available. End number of bird nests in Bali. Can capture beautiful memories, best shots and beautiful pictures swear. Bali is incomplete without experiencing this.

Hidden Gem: Guptar Ghat

Hidden Gem: Guptar Ghat   Recently we had planned to visit at my mom’s place in Uttar Pradesh which is near Ayodhaya yes Awadhpuri   Ram Nagari Ayodhaya . It had almost been a week and we were locked up in our home as we had to attend some family affairs, so we finally decided to break the shackles and escape.   We wished to explore some unseen places this time as suggested by my sister-in-law; sounds like a plan treat for a person like me who loves to travel around. Straightaway we planned for Faizabad which comes under  Ayodhaya district now; previously Ayodhaya town used to come in  Faizabad district but now it’s exactly the opposite. Such a beautiful city with so many things to offer, a blend of growing boomtown and spiritual committed place.   The beautiful  rustic charm of   Chowks and Makbara built in the pre-partition era remains an eye candy for visitors.   A place that is built by sensitivity and natural environme...

15 Days Mumbai to Leh Ladakh-Road Trip

15 Days Mumbai to Leh Ladakh-Road Trip  An  astonishing road trip to Leh Ladakh in India. I'll try to cover every aspect – logbook, accommodation, pad, driving – of planning a memorable Ladakh road trip.   Part 2 & 3 COMING SOON! Ladakh is a land with rich culture and deep Buddhist history. Monks and hermitages form a large part of its identity and are a great influence on the community. As we make our way to Leh Ladakh, serried meadows, apple manors, and bounties of nature give way to beautiful terrains cheer up by the shining sun. The endless barren trails of mountains dot the terrain and that’s when you know you’ve arrived in one of the most spectacular places on the Earth!! A road trip to Ladakh isn't a child's play-it's feat stuff of dreams. The harsh climate scrapes, the off-roading, landslides, zero network connectivity, and mountain sickness on this no man’s land with limited food to survive are some of the challenges one has to be ...

Motherhood Journey: My Next Big Obsession

Motherhood Journey: My Next Big Obsession MrsSparklingEyes:Instagram My journey to motherhood has been filled with a range of emotions. From the moment I found out I was pregnant to the moment I saw my newborn baby.  #Motherhood There’s ain't no hood like motherhood. MrsSparklingEyes:Instagram My life was forever changed on August 19, 2022 . I recently became a mother after giving birth to a baby boy. His first cry, his first sight, and the hug we shared later were all rewarding. There are no words strong enough to describe the emotion I felt the day after holding my baby in my arms for the first time. I was aware that I was holding a star; it was love at first sight. In fact, I was intently watching him from a distance while they were cleaning him, and there was immense joy and relief in bringing him safely into this world. That feeling will stay with me for the rest of my life. I fell completely in love with my baby immediately after birth. I was in the happiest ...
