Day 7 Pokhara – Nepal by Road

Finally, we are in Pokhara; a place that is framed by hills, beautiful lakes, and forests lending it a beautiful appearance.  On a clear early morning, there was an instantaneous uproar of joy and amazement. #Day2 in Pokhara so many things yet to explore;. Pokhara is a good combination of Nature and Night Life. This place turns out to be the most happening one; exactly the forbidden land that we all hoped for. Exploring the streets of Pokhara, impulse buying window shopping, to the famous Tibet market with some really amazing stuff how we can miss all of this. We also had been to Devi’s fall as recommended by the locals out there. You can find popular Night Clubs and attractions within a short distance here. There is an abundance of Dance Clubs in Pokhara; from Local Nepali bands to Bollywood and some of the best international collection; nightlife at its best. The list doesn’t end here there are also some wild daredevil peppy things to do in Pokhara; from Paragliding, Trekking, Mountain Biking to white water rafting,  so many adventurous activities in one place; we couldn’t make up to these as we already had our days planned with a very brief time. The Vibrant city Pokhara offers so much that it is hard to list down all and believe me, we had no idea about the city earlier this whole lot thing was no less than a surprise for us; an unexpected astonishing place to explore.

 Day 8 - Rider Mania - Pokhara

The next day we all left for the Rider Mania. The venue was hardly 3km away from our place. Amazing arrangements done by the RM host to welcome all the riders for joining the event of the year.

Live Food Stalls, Concerts, Sports matchups, star gazing, and bonfire will keep you engrossed; what an amazing knockout event. The best was reuniting of good old friends raving it up and having raising hell good times together.  What else you could have asked for; the only reason to attend RM every year.

Day 9 - Pokhara

We had our room booked in a hotel with a blissful Lake view; hear the water rustling around with a spectacular view of Sunrise and Sunsets. Our boys were staying at the venue itself, in a tent with a beautiful Lake view, just sit and feel the ambiance in a relaxed mode even more serene. I remember when I arrived at the venue it was freaking cold and raining at times; I couldn’t manage to stay at the venue beyond 10PM or max 12 even lucky Ali’s songs not making sense anymore for me in that harsh chilling winter. I tried contriving the situation inside the boy’s tent but as you know the level of bizarre and extraordinary hygiene boys maintain is beyond my weirdest imagination; all I could do is to rush back to my room and drape myself under the cozy blanket & hot chocolate with the heater on, where I had all the amenities’ and comfort… Thank God!!!

Day 10 - Pokhara

Mid of the event we planned to explore Pokhara. We had been to multiple places, beautiful valleys and Luckily had also been to Kushma Suspension Bridge one of the tallest footbridge; such an amazing view.

Also met one elderly couple on the way; they too were riding on a bike from Maharashtra that too alone on this thrilling journey. As said Old age is not so bad when you consider the alternative; Very much Inspired and impressed by them. In the end, I was thankful that we spared a day and tried for this short outing during the event.

Day 11 Kathmandu – Nepal by Road

The next day we all left for Kathmandu by 9AM or so, rode for almost 4 hrs continuously without any break we reached Manakamna Devi temple, took a cable ropeway ride amazing and scary at the same time; experiencing the thrilling and magnificence of a hill. After a good heavy meal, we left from there approaching Kathmandu; Beautiful evening scenes; the green covered mountains slowly vanished and the strokes of nature painting the sky, floor, and peaks with shades of Orange and Pink the joy was absolutely enthralling.

Around 7PM or so we took a stop at a nearby tea stall for a short break, as it was getting very cold.  While leaving from there Rahul aka Lone Ranger left Mangesh aka 6ft Pillion behind with no realization and later came all the way back in search of his pillion #PillionsNightmare..... Meanwhile Mangesh "Abeyyy Ruk Ruk Ruk" --- (feeling helpless - Left out; tiny dent in some corner of his heart......we can sense his pain.... Being good friends all what we did was to make fun of the situation, kept mocking and teasing them Uffff lots of Drama!!!)  Finally we reached Kathmandu by 10PM had our dinner and rushed to sleep.

Day 12 – Kathmandu

Next-Day we went to visit temples, heritage sites, and some local shopping my favorite things to do on the list. A day spent well ……

After a long tiring day, we joined a couple of our friends for the Night which ended up crazy and memorable. Shopping parade, Live concert, clubbing, and late-night chilling scenes on the streets of Kathmandu bound with some amazing street foods…… a night to remember and cherish.

Day 13 – Kathmandu

The Next day we all left from Kathmandu and were about to cover Chitwan but we skipped the master plan and stayed somewhere between Chitwan and India-Nepal Border somewhere outskirts as I remember; it was a small lodge but service was quite good.

As it was pitch dark and we can hardly expect any hotels around so we opted for the available option immediately.

Day 14 – UP

I and Josh aka Eccentric abba left early morning by 6AM to visit my home town; as I wanted to spend some more time with my family we planned to leave early and asked our boys to join us later as per their comfort. We reached at my Mom's place by evening. My parents were excited, overjoyed, and were so happy to see both of us; I can surely say that they were waiting for this day from the moment they got to know about our Nepal ride. After multiple break downs later our boys managed to reach my place by 10PM. It was quite challenging for my mom to accommodate so many people but nothing can stop them if they get an opportunity to meet their kids. Superwoman she pretty well managed to do so; the house was more like “Shaadi Ka Ghar”. Beds and linen all over the places and “Damaad ki Khaatirdari” was on utmost priority here. She made super delicious mouth-watering Mutton Curry for all of us; all I remember boys tripping over mutton curry which was yummy -nummy, there’s no match to her cooking skills Maa ke hath ka Khana wali feeling”. Those Late-night gossips and pampering; as far as I remember we all slept by 3AM that night.

Day 15 - UP

The next day we took a stroll around the farm, there were farms full of Sugarcane, Mustard, Mango and Herbs; boys gushing over Sugarcane and Herbs what a delightful experience.

Meanwhile, you are living in your own bubble and enjoying it to the core and hardly notice the time passing by; it strikes slowly with a heavy heart we need to leave this place in some time. Just a day isn’t enough for me; leaving your parents something that every girl secretly dreads. With sadness and not so happy face we left from there and took a halt at the nearest Dhaba had our lunch and approaching towards Lucknow which was hardly 120 km away. We all reached Lucknow  by 8 PM and had been to the most iconic place Tunday Kebabs; From Biryani, kebabs to Jalebis and Rabddi we had it all.

Day 16 - Agra

We left early morning from Lucknow and reached Agra by evening nearing 6 Pm or so. We got the best place to stay overnight hardly 1 km away from the Taj Mahal.  Got this amazing rooftop place to have dinner with a glimpse of moon kissed Taj Mahal view and some live ghazals to celebrate the night.; Indeed peaceful and so worthy.

Day 17 - Agra

The next day we woke up a bit early to take a walk and visit Taj Mahal; soon we left Agra after a good heavy breakfast. Experienced riding on Yamuna Expressway on the checklist, reached Gurgaon by evening, and dropped our Two-wheelers at the transport company and Left for the Airport very day Delhi to Bombay  “Way back to Home”.

Even today when I think of this epic travel journey; those moments of Joy, taste, endure, suffer, sustain, adventure, and pain flashes in front of me with alarming clarity wanting to make it again, do it once more before it’s too late…..

Thankful to each one of you for reading my blog and being a part of this journey; with such a great response and Love from your end so Glad & Overwhelmed…. 💖💖 See you all soon with upcoming Blogs...Stay Tuned

Hidden Gem: Guptar Ghat

Hidden Gem: Guptar Ghat   Recently we had planned to visit at my mom’s place in Uttar Pradesh which is near Ayodhaya yes Awadhpuri   Ram Nagari Ayodhaya . It had almost been a week and we were locked up in our home as we had to attend some family affairs, so we finally decided to break the shackles and escape.   We wished to explore some unseen places this time as suggested by my sister-in-law; sounds like a plan treat for a person like me who loves to travel around. Straightaway we planned for Faizabad which comes under  Ayodhaya district now; previously Ayodhaya town used to come in  Faizabad district but now it’s exactly the opposite. Such a beautiful city with so many things to offer, a blend of growing boomtown and spiritual committed place.   The beautiful  rustic charm of   Chowks and Makbara built in the pre-partition era remains an eye candy for visitors.   A place that is built by sensitivity and natural environme...

15 Days Mumbai to Leh Ladakh-Road Trip  An  astonishing road trip to Leh Ladakh in India. I'll try to cover every aspect – logbook, accommodation, pad, driving – of planning a memorable Ladakh road trip.   Part 2 & 3 COMING SOON! Ladakh is a land with rich culture and deep Buddhist history. Monks and hermitages form a large part of its identity and are a great influence on the community. As we make our way to Leh Ladakh, serried meadows, apple manors, and bounties of nature give way to beautiful terrains cheer up by the shining sun. The endless barren trails of mountains dot the terrain and that’s when you know you’ve arrived in one of the most spectacular places on the Earth!! A road trip to Ladakh isn't a child's play-it's feat stuff of dreams. The harsh climate scrapes, the off-roading, landslides, zero network connectivity, and mountain sickness on this no man’s land with limited food to survive are some of the challenges one has to be ...

Motherhood Journey: My Next Big Obsession

Motherhood Journey: My Next Big Obsession MrsSparklingEyes:Instagram My journey to motherhood has been filled with a range of emotions. From the moment I found out I was pregnant to the moment I saw my newborn baby.  #Motherhood There’s ain't no hood like motherhood. MrsSparklingEyes:Instagram My life was forever changed on August 19, 2022 . I recently became a mother after giving birth to a baby boy. His first cry, his first sight, and the hug we shared later were all rewarding. There are no words strong enough to describe the emotion I felt the day after holding my baby in my arms for the first time. I was aware that I was holding a star; it was love at first sight. In fact, I was intently watching him from a distance while they were cleaning him, and there was immense joy and relief in bringing him safely into this world. That feeling will stay with me for the rest of my life. I fell completely in love with my baby immediately after birth. I was in the happiest ...
