Highway to Heaven: Road Trip after lockdown.

Highway to Heaven: Road Trip after lockdown. In October 2020 we planned to drove more than 3000Km across three states all the way via Mumbai - MP - UP (Ayodhya) home town. We decided to ditch the flight mode this time and take the more adventurous option. #TheRoadTrip Mumbai – Jhansi – Ayodhaya -Maheshwar - Mumbai Maharashtra roads were in extremely bad condition, several stretches were miserably pothole-ridden with bad bumpy roads, genuinely nightmarish to some extend; tough time running on highways after crossing Mumbai. Hidden Gem: Guptar Ghat

Hidden Gem: Guptar Ghat   Recently we had planned to visit at my mom’s place in Uttar Pradesh which is near Ayodhaya yes Awadhpuri   Ram Nagari Ayodhaya . It had almost been a week and we were locked up in our home as we had to attend some family affairs, so we finally decided to break the shackles and escape.   We wished to explore some unseen places this time as suggested by my sister-in-law; sounds like a plan treat for a person like me who loves to travel around. Straightaway we planned for Faizabad which comes under  Ayodhaya district now; previously Ayodhaya town used to come in  Faizabad district but now it’s exactly the opposite. Such a beautiful city with so many things to offer, a blend of growing boomtown and spiritual committed place.   The beautiful  rustic charm of   Chowks and Makbara built in the pre-partition era remains an eye candy for visitors.   A place that is built by sensitivity and natural environme...
